There are very few times over the years when aquatic creatures have not been a part of my life.  It was because of my hobbyist's zeal, and frustration at the quality of support obtainable for my particular passion that I started a pet shop in this rural North Florida community eleven years ago.

It started as a full line store catering to all pet-care needs but over the years I've been gradually able to focus & specialize on what I love best, stuff in water.

Born in Chicago, my formative years were spent in South Florida, and my family moved to the very Northern part of that state in 1983.

I've held a variety of occupations and acquired a mixed bag of experience and skills, some of which have been considered good enough for government work.

The decision to offer my services to AMDA was made because where I live, it is customary to support, through actions, those causes which will benefit the community.  I am a hobbyist and member of the ornamental aquarium trade.  As such, it is in my best interest to help promote environmentally responsible marine aquarium keeping.

My work for AMDA will hopefully help allow current and future hobbyists & professionals to continue with their pursuits.
